Orange Butterfly Weed, Asclepias tuberosa

Hardy, long-lived perennial native to North America. Compact orange flowers grow in clusters at the top of branching stems. The flowers produce nectar which attracts butterflies throughout the growing season. Grows best in full sun in very well-drained, sandy or poor soil. May take two years to become established from seed. Height: 12-24 inches, Blooming period: June-September. 50 seeds/2.50.
